Introduction: Creating Math Yay-Sayers

Many students are giving up on math at a relatively young age. Math & Movement is here to help! Our kinesthetic learning program gives students a chance to succeed before they develop an “I can’t do math” attitude. It gives them the confidence boost they need to start taking mathematical risks.

Implementing brain-based strategies is key to tackling a school-wide culture of “math nay-sayers” and converting it to a culture of “I can learn math” or “math yay-sayers.” Our program brings positive thinking and fun, rigorous, intentional math practice into your school.

This online training will give you a better understanding of kinesthetic learning as a whole and will break down key aspects of the Math & Movement program so you can start implementing this approach in your school or classroom.

Reflect: What could a “math yay-sayer” culture look like in your classroom or school?
